Restaurant Manager Job at Heritage Hotel/Loxley' Restaurant
We are looking for a Restaurant Manager to join our team to ensure all daily operations run smoothly, efficiently and above our guest's expectations.
To be successful in this role, you should be familiar with restaurant operations and have a good understanding of what makes a great guest experience. The ideal candidate will lead by example, be comfortable stepping into a kitchen or behind a bar to assure the quality and expediency of our service operation. The restaurant is unique in that its managers must be proficient in all areas of business to include purchasing, manufacturing, sales, accounting, Human resources, customer service as well as accounting. No other industry can give one the exposure to all aspects of the business world as does the restaurant industry. To succeed you must be driven and disciplined, the ability to problem-solve is essential, attention to detail and the ability to see things through is a must. Our candidate needs to have a strong work ethic and be reliable.
Ultimately, you will help minimize operating costs, boost our employee retention and deliver a positive dining experience for our guests. Work experience as a Restaurant Manager or similar role in the hospitality industry. Familiarity with restaurant management software like Toast and Open Table, Good math and reporting skills, Customer service attitude, Communication and team management abilities. Availability to work within opening hours (e.g. evenings, holidays, weekends). High school diploma; additional certification in hospitality is a plus.
The ideal candidate for this position will focus on personnel management, which includes; the hiring of FOH staff, training in our steps of service, menu knowledge as well holding team-members accountable to be positive ambassadors of our brand. You will be responsible for staff-scheduling, assigning sections, handling reservations and controlling the flow of operations during services and assuring that all guests leave happy.
Compensation ranges are commensurate with experience. Health, Dental and vision plans are also offered.
