Residential Group Home Manager Job at HGA Support Services
HGA Support Services is seeking a Full-Time Group Home Manager in a home specializing in persons with disabilities who have high behavioral needs.
Essential Job Functions / Job-Specific Duties:
- As a home manager for HGA, your home and the people who live and work there are your responsibility. Through effective supervision and leadership and a commitment to HGA’s mission and values, you ensure quality care for the people you serve, and dedicated, motivated, and engaged staff.
- Oversee and ensure that all needs are met and rights of individuals living in the homes are protected, ensure documentation is completed and medical needs are met.
- Schedule staff for the needs of the individuals living in the home and oversee and manage time and attendance.
- Monitor home budget, manage spending, and maintain resident funds.
- Provide leadership, guidance, support, and supervision to all staff in the home.
- Promote support staff through effective training as required by Licensing and Community Mental Health.
- Cultivate good working relationships with clinicians, licensing consultants, and guardians.
- Be available to manage and coordinate emergency situations.
Skills
The Group Home Manager will demonstrate commitment to quality services, ethical leadership in the supervision of staff, and fulfill obligations as outlined in the policy and applicable laws within the home for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. All Group Homes operate under contract with regional mental health agencies and are licensed under Michigan's Adult Foster Care Rules.
Education / Employment Requirements
- Valid Michigan Driver’s License and proof of clean driving record.
- Minimum of two years of experience as a caregiver.
- Supervisory/management experience required.
- Computer experience necessary for remote meetings, payroll management, and daily business operations.

Pay: $43,680.00 - $47,000.00 per year
