Remote Facility ED Coder (Contract) Job at OnPoint Healthcare Solutions
Coding Specialist is required to review, evaluate, and code outpatient same day surgery encounters. Proficient in the use of various coding systems including Epic and 3M. Experience with electronic medical records and CPT coding preferred. Successful candidate will have a minimum of three years' experience working in a health care facility environment. Preferred candidate will have knowledge of medical terminology and an understanding of coding guidelines and principles.
- Minimum 5 years of Emergency Department coding experience
- Experience with Epic and 3M or 3M CAC systems preferred
- Strong knowledge of ICD-10/CPT guidelines
- CPC, CCS, COC, RHIT, or RHIA certification required
- Ability to work from home using high speed internet
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $28.00 - $34.00 per hour
