Regional Sales Manager – Located in and for the West Region (CA, NV, WA, Western Canada)

The company operates as two divisions, Decorative Finishing (DF) and Industrial Solutions (IS).

Objective
We are targeting a person who has experience and enjoys working in change management in a fast-growing organization. While WAGNER is a well-established company with 75 years of existence, the Americas’ Industrial Solutions is in a rapid-growth mode, like what you might find in a startup company. We are looking for someone who enjoys this type of challenge and thrives in an environment of driving change. The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for supporting and developing the distribution standard product channel. This involves supporting distributors in sales efforts as well as training and product support. Additional responsibilities include identifying prospective engineered system opportunities and working with the ENSY sales team.

Key Responsibilities Include
  • Develop and execute go-to-market and product strategies for the respective channels including branding strategies, media planning, merchandising, events, and promotional plans.
  • Work with distribution channel in the defined geographic territory to train, support and assist in the sales of standard products
  • Meet predetermined sales quotas, including sales targets and distribution growth requirements
  • Complete required weekly sales reports
  • Meet with prospective customers as required gaining information necessary for preparation of ENSY sales leads

Dimensions of Position
  • Regional Sales team member working with all other departments. Interactions with all accounts and customers, distribution representatives, and senior management. Managing all customer touchpoints.

Education
  • B.S. Degree in Business or related field, and/or equivalent experience.
Experience
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in paint application, equipment sales, or equivalent. Must have experience with these designated sales channels: distribution and direct. Experience highly preferred in the demonstration of industrial equipment.

Skills
  • Proven results as regional sales manager
  • Self-starter and highly motivated
  • Knowledge of industrial sales procedures and experience with distribution channel processes
  • Position requires a minimum of 50% or more of overnight travel
