We are looking for a strong, driven operational leader, who enjoys a fast-paced work environment to join our operations team and make a difference every day by helping our patients build families. The ideal candidate for this position has strong people and operational management experience, excellent communication and team building skills, and is passionate about supporting teams to guide patients through their fertility journeys.

The Regional Director of Operations is responsible for overseeing effective operating procedures across Five (5) sites within their assigned region. Duties include implementing, and sustaining a culture where data is used to monitor performance and drive decisions to optimize operations. The Regional Director of Operations is responsible for managing site resources, developing and implementing an operational plan and ensuring that procedures are carried out properly at all sites. Additionally, the Regional Director of Operations is expected to regularly evaluate organizational efficiency at local sites, and make necessary changes to maximize staff productivity. This is a hands-on position in a fast paced healthcare environment, and part of a fast growing organization composed of “working” leaders willing to pitch in and do whatever is necessary to meet desired outcomes. The right individual will have the ability to manage multiple priorities in a time sensitive environment. Must be able to attract and retain top talent. This position reports directly to the Chief Operations Officer.

What You’ll Do Every Day
  • Leads teams: Develop and directly lead a team of clinical site leaders – recruit, support and retain top talent.
  • Builds strong relationships with physician partners –support on both day to day operational decision making as well as strategic planning
  • Establishes quantitative and qualitative metrics, guidelines, and standards by which the company’s efficiency and effectiveness can be evaluated; identifies opportunities for improvement.
  • Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates operating procedures.
  • Implements policies and procedures that will improve day-to-day operations.
  • Ensures work environments are adequate and safe.
  • Participated in the planning, implementation, evaluation, and monitoring of local site budgets to achieve financial objectives.
  • Communicates and explains new directives, policies, or procedures to Practice Administrators; for major changes, meets with entire site staff to explain changes, answer questions, and maintain morale.
  • Improves customer service and patient satisfaction through policy and procedural changes.
  • Leads coordination and integration of efforts among operations, physicians, finance, lab and clinical staff to produce smoother workflow and more cost-effective business processes.
  • Projects a positive image of the organization to employees, customers, industry, and community.
  • Other duties and special projects, as assigned.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Proficient operational and financial acumen
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, combining integrity with the ability to inspire and motivate professionals.
  • Superior problem solver. Ability to identify weak spots in a process to improve efficiency
  • Confident and steady under pressure, with an ability to maintain an appropriate balance between delegating and taking charge.
  • Ability to manage in a complex environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.

Education and Experience

  • Extensive and diversified leadership background with at least 5 years of related operational management experience; experience with operational management in healthcare field preferred.
  • Bachelors in health administration or business administration, or equivalent experience required.

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains direct reports.
  • Oversees the daily workflow of the staff and department.
  • Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations.
  • Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with Company policies.

Working Conditions

This job operates in a remote environment, and requires occasional travel to regional sites and our Colorado office. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, including computer keyboards and mice; telephones; photocopiers; scanners; filing cabinets.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate with others. The employee is frequently required to sit; will occasionally stand and/or walk; use hands and fingers to grasp, pick, pinch, type; and reach with hands and arms. Employee is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; operation of standard office machines and equipment.

FLSA Status

Exempt (salaried)

Pay Range

$125,000.00 - $155,000.00 per year, paid bi-weekly plus bonus potential

Actual compensation offered will be determined based on the selected candidate’s skills, education, and experience.
