LHH is looking for a Recruiter for a direct hire position with a manufacturer in Rock Hill, SC! The ideal candidate for this position will have at least three years of experience in recruiting specifically for manufacturing roles and a strong understanding of the unique challenges and requirements within this industry.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize various recruitment strategies to source, identify, and attract high-quality candidates for a wide range of manufacturing positions, including both salaried and hourly roles.
- Conduct thorough candidate assessments through resume screening, phone and in-person interviews, reference checks, and other relevant evaluation methods to ensure a strong match between candidates and job requirements.
- Create compelling job descriptions and advertisements to attract qualified candidates. Post job openings on appropriate job boards, social media platforms, and other relevant channels to maximize visibility and reach.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers and department heads to understand their specific staffing needs, provide regular updates on recruitment progress, and collaborate on effective recruitment strategies.
- Provide a positive and professional candidate experience throughout the recruitment process, ensuring timely communication, feedback, and guidance to candidates.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies throughout the recruitment process. Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of candidate interactions, interviews, and hiring decisions.
- Proactively build and maintain a network of potential candidates for future openings. Develop and implement strategies to engage passive candidates and build relationships with industry professionals.
Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
- Minimum of three years of experience in recruiting for manufacturing roles, including both salaried and hourly positions. Familiarity with the unique hiring requirements and challenges within the manufacturing industry is essential.
- Demonstrated expertise in full-cycle recruiting, including candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, and evaluation.
- Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS), sourcing tools, and social media platforms for recruitment purposes.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, job functions, and skill sets associated with various manufacturing positions. Knowledge of industry-specific regulations, certifications, and safety requirements is highly desirable.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to build rapport and establish effective working relationships with hiring managers, candidates, and other stakeholders.
- Exceptional time management and organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple recruitment assignments simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Proactive and resourceful in identifying and resolving recruitment challenges. Ability to think creatively and implement innovative recruitment strategies.
- Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with the utmost discretion and professionalism.
