This role serves as one of our main Recreation Therapists working with an interactive team of professionals that focus on resident center care in Assisted Living and our Health Center.

A friendly and professional demeanor, along with a highly organized approach to managing workflow and time are must-haves for this position. Recreational Therapist or Professional is responsible for following the APIE process (assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation) for programming a variety of therapeutic interventions that meet the physical, intellectual, emotional and spiritual needs of the Holbrook residents. This role prepares and maintains assessments, program participation records, care plans, monthly, weekly and daily calendars in accordance with state and federal regulations.=

This is a full-time, 40 hour position with rotating weekends.

QUALIFICATIONS:

A Bachelor’s Degree in Therapeutic Recreation and one (1) year experience work with the senior population. Applicants must be able to sit for CTRS exam, have current CTRS by the National Council for Therapeutic Recreation Certification or have achieved an Activity Professional Certification (APC) through the National Certification Council for Activity Professionals.
