Recreation Team Member I Job at Town of Belleair
The Town of Belleair is actively seeking several part-time employees to join the Recreation Department team! Our new hires will be leaders in the Belleair community that interact with our residents daily and provide the highest quality care to the children and adults who frequent the Recreation Center. The Recreation Department has flexible work schedules for candidates to choose from. Please include a preference of the below positions in your application.
- Customer Service: We are seeking team members to assist at the front desk of the Dimmitt Community Center to greet and assist guests, register participants for programs and events, and help with various special projects and events as needed. The ideal candidate will be available for two-to-three shifts per week. Our hours of operation are Monday through Saturday from 8am-9pm. Marketing, writing, and social media experience is a plus!
- The Hangout Afterschool: We are looking for team members to pick up students from local schools and administer Belleair’s “The Hangout” afterschool program daily. The Hangout program includes homework time followed by staff-led games and activities, and is set apart by the close relationships our participants develop with staff. Candidates must be available 1:30 - 5:45 pm on weekdays, with opportunities to work until 9:00 pm for front desk/closing shifts and to help with other projects and events as needed.
Qualifications
Must be 18 years or older and have a valid class E or higher driver’s license with a good driving record.
