Job Summary:

Essential Functions:
We are looking for enthusiastic Receptionist to provide excellent customer service to our patrons. A Receptionist serves visitors by greeting, welcoming, and directing them appropriately; notifies company personnel of visitor arrival and maintains security and telecommunications system. The ideal candidate will also be able to provide file, clerical and data entry support to our Accounting Department. In addition, the Receptionist will be able to work a shortened day shift on Saturdays when the Barons are hosting a home game (roughly 12 varying Saturdays from April to September.) Flex hours would be scheduled the following week to maintain a 40-hour work week balance.

Duties:
- Answers questions concerning group sales, game times, game delays or rainchecks
- Assists Groups Sales and Events patrons with drop-off and pick-up of items as well as lost and found recovery
- Welcomes visitors by greeting them, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries
- Directs visitors by maintaining employee and department directories; giving instructions
- Maintains security by following office and stadium procedures
- Maintains telephone/voicemail systems, office equipment, postage equipment, and is the regular point of contact for the corresponding technology support companies
- Maintains safe and clean reception area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
- Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs
- Maintains incoming and outgoing mail and packages; arranging for pickup and distribution
- Maintains Minor League Baseball player package log and other MLB Correspondences
- Orders supplies and schedules maintenance/service calls on all office equipment
- Creates employee/visitors/vendor badges as needed
- Transfers data from paper formats into computer files or database systems
- Transfers data from electronic formats into computer files or database systems
- Updating spreadsheets with large numbers of figures without mistakes
- Utilizes company software to generate reports for Management
- Assist in arranging, scheduling and documenting mandatory training/meetings
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- High school degree or equivalent
- Equivalent years of business experience
- Strong Telephone Skills

General Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift 25lbs up to 50lbs
