WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
A Transaction Coordinator is an individual who is outgoing, draws energy from working with people, is optimistic and extremely detail oriented. They have a strong sense of urgency, but not at the expense of quality. They realize their #1 priority is to provide exceptional customer service throughout the entire transaction, to not only our clients, but to all parties involved.
In addition, they demonstrate daily the knowledge, attitudes, skills, and habits of a high achiever who is committed to putting clients first, doing the right thing, and ensuring all the details are managed. A Transaction Coordinator must be adaptable to change and be solution oriented. They will manage real estate contracts and files efficiently and effectively to ensure all transactions are documented promptly and properly, with little or no hassle to clients and third parties. This individual must provide a “can-do” attitude and will demonstrate initiative in problem solving. This person will be accountable to our team of six Realtors, and will work daily at our Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices office.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Act as liaison between real estate agents, clients, escrow companies, and mortgage brokers during the process of a real estate transaction
- Effectively manage the administrative tasks involved in each transaction
- Follow up with individuals as needed to ensure all deadlines are met
- Maintain accurate and compliant files for all transactions
- Create a house file (Dotloop and paper) for all transactions
- Understand the contracts to be able to summarize all important terms, conditions, and dates
- Communicate with all parties involved throughout the transaction regarding all important dates, missing documents, calendar reminders, file compliance status, etc.
- Establish relationships with all third parties including lenders, inspectors, appraisers, and agents to ensure a smooth closing process and share relevant information
- Draft any documents as needed and ensure they are shared with relevant parties
- Be a resource for all questions that arise throughout the transaction from agent, client, lenders, appraisers, other transaction coordinators/agents, etc.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS
- Proficiency with Utah Real Estate purchase contracts, Dotloop, DocuSign, Microsoft Products (Outlook, Word, Excel) is preferred.
- People oriented
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Good organizational skills
- Marketing experience is a plus!
- High School graduate
- Real Estate license preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
