Job Description: Quality Technician

Summary: Execute activities as designated by the Quality Lead.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

  • Inspect circuit board assemblies for workmanship against IPC standards
  • Program/Operate automatic optical inspection machine to ensure conforming products
  • Operate x-ray machine to inspected leadless devices to ensure conformity to IPC standards.
  • Program/Operate aqueous wash to clean boards per the customer specifications
  • Support data entry into TouchPad’s MRP system.
  • Troubleshoot and report any variations from the established plan to the manager or lead technicians in a timely manner.
  • Communicate among quality, production, and engineering groups.
  • Follow all ISO procedures and documentation for TouchPad’s production process and implement changes or improvements when identified to drive compliancy and efficiency.

Requirements: * High-school diploma. Experience in the circuit board assembly QC field is a plus.

  • Self-motivated, detail oriented, organized, highly skilled in communication, and able to work independently with minimal supervision is required.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications.
  • Experience in PCB assembly industry or electronics a plus.
