Essentra is hiring! We are currently recruiting for a Quality Monitor for -1st Shift (7am to 3pm), 2nd Shift (3pm to 11pm) and 3rd Shift (11pm to 7am). Signing bonuses: 1st Shift $1,000.

Position Summary: In our organization, the Quality Monitor audits, inspects, and tests the product “in-process” in order ensure compliance to customer specifications. Primary focus of the Quality Monitor is to adhere to CGMP, ISO 9001, and Essentra standard operating procedures and requirements.

Skills and Experience Required:

· High School Diploma or equivalent.

· Minimum 2 years of Quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment is required.

· Minimum 1 year of packaging manufacturing environment experience needed.

· Knowledge of ISO 9000 procedures a plus.

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Examine the product to customer requirements/specifications in relating to printing visual appearance and converting structural functions.

· Conduct sampling

· Demonstrate clear understanding of quality procedures and safety awareness.

· Communicate information to respective customers and generate reports upon request.

· Review non-conforming material to meet customer specifications.

· Complete the required standardized forms as required by Quality Management System (QMS).

· Perform visual comparator analysis checks.

· Input information into batch records to reflect document defects for customer review.

· Randomly sample product based on company and/or customer requirements for evaluation.

· Reconcile final inspection documentation for shipping.

· All other duties as assigned by management.

Physical Requirements:

• Position regularly requires lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Position requires manual dexterity to reach/handle items, work with fingers.
• Ability to bend, reach, and pull on and around equipment and the facility.
• Ability to work in tight spaces.
• Position requires working on your feet for the entire shift. ( except for breaks / lunch )

Working Conditions and Environment:

· Position may cause exposure to dust, fumes, and odors.

· Position usually entails lifting and carrying of items and using pallet jack.

· Position may experience periods of frequent overtime on weekdays and weekends.
