KP Building Products is seeking a Quality Associate at our manufacturing facility in Holly Springs, MS. This is an opportunity to become part of a family friendly team, in an expanding company, with room for advancement.

Schedule: 8am – 8pm (Rotating days)
Job status: Full time – Permanent
Salary: $16.00 - $18.00 (Depending on experience)

Responsibilities:

• Inspect and verify the finished product meets or exceeds the quality specifications
• Rotate from line to line performing quality checks on a continuous basis throughout the shift
• Report any questionable quality issues to the Machine Operator, Production Lead or Supervisor, as well to the Quality Manager
• Verifies scans on all skids into production
• Sign off on operator reports
• Check ALL locks, length, bow, appearance, three-point contact, gauge, gloss, color, width, emboss repeat, emboss location, emboss verification, nail rail width, impact, square, overlap, and check for the date code according to the specifications and the frequency established
• Ensure the correct nesting patterns and that the correct labels are on both ends of the carton before the skid reaches the warehouse
• Responsible for housekeeping, health & safety for yourself and co-workers
• Promote a Teamwork environment
• Understand and comply with all plant rules/policies, safety, and environmental regulations
• Assist the QA Department and Production as needed

Qualifications/Requirements:

• High school or equivalent
• 2+ years of experience as a Quality Inspector
• Organization and attention to detail are necessary for this role
• Minimum of 2 years warehouse experience
• Ability to lift heavy objects up to 100 lbs
• Flexibility to adjust daily work flow, to complete tasks
