Purchasing Assistant Job at TeamWRX

Right now, we are looking for a Purchasing Assitiant to work for one of our top customers in the Dallas area. Below are the positions and some of the requirements for the job.
Requirements:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Well-organized and able to progress on multiple projects simultaneously
- Self-motivated and driven to learn new skills and work through daily task lists
- Ability to work under pressure of tight deadlines
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Bilingual in Spanish and English is a plus

- The jobsite is based in Lewisville, TX. There is no relocation assistance.
Job Duties:
- Report directly to Purchasing Manager
- Create purchase orders to vendors
- Make purchases and ensure that orders received are accurate and are not damaged
- Submit payment requests
- Create RFPs for special projects
- Contact vendors to obtain quotes
- Create comparison tables for proposals from multiple vendors
- Handle price disputes & claims with vendors
- Update & maintain vendor service agreement & contract spreadsheets
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
