Retirement Unlimited, Incorporated, a premiere provider of over 20 Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care Communities is seeking a Public Relations Executive Assistant in Roanoke, VA!

The Public Relations Executive Assistant (PREA) will perform advanced administrative tasks including preparing communications, expense reports, making reservations for travel, arranging detailed plans, meeting agendas, and periodically communicate with associates, vendors, and partners on behalf of the President. The PREA is also a detail-oriented individual who coordinates Rui's public relations efforts, promotes programs and special events, plans and produces events, and provides departmental support.

  • Write content for both print and Web including the company website and online communication, sales collateral, letters and announcement, and press releases.
  • Assist in implementing a communications strategy.
  • Make sure that all promotional and marketing materials meet the company’s brand identity strategy.
  • Identify and resolve any issues with promotional content in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assess and report on the effectiveness of communication strategies.
  • Provides high-level support to the President. Manages the President’s calendar, ensuring that the President’s schedule is handled efficiently and professionally.
  • Manage travel itineraries, establish dates, make airline, hotel, restaurant, and rental car reservations.
  • Plans remote and in-person meetings by compiling agendas, coordinating logistics and materials, identifying venues, inviting guests, taking minutes, and other necessary administrative details.
  • Organize non-board meetings, retreats, office visits, and conferences.
  • Serve as a strategic planner by attending all quarterly and annual meetings to prepare Department Metrics and monitor progress. Coordinates special projects as directed by the President.
  • Prepares and monitors the Executive budget, and is responsible for processing purchase orders, invoices, expense reports and ongoing budget review.
  • Deals with highly confidential material on a routine basis.
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism in dealing with all business matters.
  • Screen and manage telephone and email inquiries and requests
  • Develop presentations, templates, graphics, and chart inputs at the highest professional standards.
  • Proofread, and edit presentations as needed.
