Summary:
The Project Manager is directly responsible for all aspects of the effort and shall have the autonomy from the corporate headquarters to execute the effort unimpeded by corporate management.
Duties and Responsibilities:
The Project Manager is directly responsible for all aspects of the effort. Must be highly qualified and possess general supervisory experience, supply management experience and transportation experience directly applicable to this effort. Must have specific management experience in retail-level supply, maintenance, and asset management. Must have experience with financial management and knowledge of army logistics information systems.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
Must have comprehensive knowledge of a variety of Army regulations related to the daily operations of an Army installation. The Project Manager must have general knowledge of the logistics information systems that pertain to the areas within the PWS. Additionally, the PM must understand ISO and quality management systems.
Minimum Job Requirements:
The Project Manager shall have a bachelor's degree in a related discipline and have a minimum fifteen (15) years of management experience in Army logistics operations and must have at a minimum 5 years of documented management experience at Army battalion level or higher in the areas of Army transportation, supply and maintenance. SECRET security clearance is required.
