Objective of Position

This position will work directly with the Director, Manufacturing Programs in opening of a new 800,000 square foot Commercial manufacturing facility in Saltillo Mexico. Construction is scheduled to begin in Q4 2022 and the facility will begin operating in 2024. The Saltillo factory will be the second Lennox Commercial facility … with the first located in Stuttgart, Arkansas.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with management and business leaders to understand the project scope, objectives and risk assessment.
• Conduct project meetings and is responsible for developing and maintaining Microsoft Project timeline and analytics
• Develops detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans and status reports
• Coordinates activities of the core cross-functional team to ensure that the project progresses on schedule and within budget while meeting established system requirements.
• T budgetary compliance
• Confers with project team leaders to develop plans and to assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority.
• Reviews status reports prepared by project team members and combines information into a status report to present and/or submit to management and others.
• Confers with project personnel to provide technical advice and problem resolution.
• Works with various Lennox departments and external partners (suppliers/vendors) to ensure project execution.

  Experience with a green field startup preferred
• General knowledge of construction helpful
• Bachelor's degree is preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• A master's degree or equivalent is highly preferred.
• Requires at least 5 years related experience managing projects and people.
• Six Sigma, Lean, Program Management or equivalent certifications strongly preferred.
• Expert in leading multiple projects of varying complexities.
• Ability to integrate activities across all functions within the company.
• Understanding of the practical application of engineering science and technology.
• Experience with mainstream program and project management software tools.
• Demonstrated ability to motivate teams to excel, to drive teams to make aggressive but reasonable commitments, and to assure teams deliver on commitments with high regularity.
• High-energy and detail style that broadly inspires performance and instills confidence.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to travel to Saltillo Mexico as needed
