Program Coordinator I Job at Partnership HealthPlan of California
- Schedules and coordinates both internal and external meetings.
- Provides administrative support for assigned programs, including data entry, tracking, and
reporting. - Supports the successful implementation of projects associated with assigned programs.
- Provides technical and administrative support for the development of business cases and
system reports for projects and/or programs. - Develops and publishes agendas, meeting minutes, and necessary program
documentation. - Works with program leadership to document and coordinate tactical department and
program initiatives. - Works with relevant units to coordinate the implementation of effective and high quality
program improvement projects. - Supports and coordinates program requirements and reporting.
- Attends program meetings, follows up on task assignments, and communicates the status
of program activities to stakeholders and program leaders as directed. - Develops and publishes communications to program stakeholders.
- Maintains department files (hard and soft copies) per instruction.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
High School diploma or equivalent. Minimum of one (1) year
project/program coordination experience.
Special Skills, Licenses and Certifications
Strong written and oral communication skills. Detail-oriented. Strong
organization skills to work on multiple tasks at one time and efficiently
complete assigned tasks within established timeframes and quality
standards. Decision-making, problem solving, critical thinking, and
listening skills required. Ability to plan, implement, and report on
program improvement projects. Ability to anticipate needs and remain
calm under pressure. Knowledge of business practices and protocols
with ability to access data and information using automated systems.
Knowledge of project/program management methodologies is highly
desirable. Valid California driver’s license and proof of current
automobile insurance compliant with PHC policy are required to operate
a vehicle and travel for company business.
Performance Based Competencies
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain courtesy
and composure when dealing with internal and external customers.
Ability to function effectively with frequent interruptions and direction
from multiple team members. Maintains confidentiality and integrity at
all times.
Work Environment And Physical Demands
More than 50% of work time is spent using a desktop computer. When
necessary, the ability to lift, carry, or move objects of varying size,
weighing up to 10 lbs.
