Koch Ag & Energy is seeking a contribution-minded Production Yield Analyst or Senior Production Yield Analyst (Hybrid) to join our Finance, Accounting and Risk organization in Wichita, KS. Position will be based in Wichita, KS, with a hybrid work environment (ability to work remote any 2 days/week) and includes travel as needed.

What You Will Do In Your Role

Develop Yield Analysis Capability

• Partner with Process Engineers, IT, Finance, Operations Leaders, and Consultants to create mass balancing models
• Analyze imbalances and work with site personnel to resolve issues
• Develop Daily Production Reporting for each site
• Collaborate with IT to ensure data models are accurate and meet reporting/analysis needs

Mass Balancing Subject Matter Expert

• Confirm that daily reporting accurately reflects site production and inventory position
• Assist in validating month end results and consult with key stakeholders regarding potential adjustments
• Monitor mass balance model health trends while proactively working with key contacts as issues arise
• Continuously improve mass balance models to reduce product losses and maximize yield
• Adjust mass balance model for changes in production process, instrumentation, and data reference points

The Experience You Will Bring

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, or related field
• Professional experience with Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering or related field
• Demonstrated success with analytical and economic thinking and experience defining project deliverables and metrics to drive process improvements
• Demonstrated success collaborating with internal teams and external customers

What Will Put You Ahead

• Previous operational, process, or mass balancing experience and use of the applicable software (i.e. PI Process book, PI Asset Framework, etc.)
• Experience with Tableau or Alteryx
