Job Summary :

The Product Marketing Manager will be responsible for defining the position and message of our products as well as planning and executing high impact product launches worldwide. The PMM will have a deep understanding of Zeus’ target markets and products and will serve as a market strategy expert. The position requires interpersonal skills and interaction with all commercial functional areas (i.e. Sales, Marcom and Product Management). The position ensures that all marketing collateral accurately reflects the features and, benefits and advantages to meet customer’s needs. Responsibilities include thorough market analysis and understanding, sales force training, customer engagement/education, competitive analysis, and implementation/execution of business strategies to drive revenue and increase profitability.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Defines the go-to-market strategy, market analysis, and positioning of core and new products in coordination with product management
  • Oversees product messaging that sets new products apart from others in the market to give them a unique selling point
  • Works with product management and product development teams to set priorities for product enhancements to maintain competitive advantage
  • Leverages industry contacts through relationships to establish strategic selling opportunities for Sales, Product Management and other functional groups
  • Communicates the vision and value of new products to the sales team and develops sales tools that facilitate the selling process
  • Works with Sales team to develop programs and execute sales strategies
  • Designs and implement product launches for all channels
  • Works with Product Management, Sales and Marcom to maximize the effectiveness of the positioning and message to the market
  • Represents products in commercial settings including seminars, tradeshows, regional and national sales meetings and in direct customer communications
  • Identifies lead generation opportunities and coordinates and plans marketing collateral such as data sheets, FAQ, feature benefit sheets, case studies, white papers, etc.
  • Provides product positioning materials & training for sales
  • Develops sales pitch, presentations and proposals to clearly articulate the products value proposition to our customers.
  • Acts as “voice of the market” within the company, researching customer needs and experiences
  • Completes competitive analysis and provide insights to Product Management
  • Leverages CRM to analyze and capture marketing campaign performance metrics and ROI
  • Supports channel partners with sales training, collateral and best practices
  • Attends and has co-ownership of decision making for tradeshows, conferences and company sponsored events
  • Travels with sales to deliver presentations to key customers and prospects
  • Obtains insights into customers’ usage of current products, untapped opportunities and buyer personas, through interviews, surveys, focus groups and sales data
  • Utilizes market expertise to take advantage of cross market opportunities
  • Demonstrates thorough expertise and key customers/players in Medical/Industrial market
  • Utilizes market expertise (VOC, VOM) to drive activity for existing products, product extensions, new product development opportunities and research initiatives
  • Remains current on changing market landscape (new products, procedures/applications, clinical data/papers) by attending industry/clinical conferences to obtain VOM input

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in related field
  • Minimum of 10 years technical sales and/or marketing experience
  • Strong Knowledge of marketing, sales and the development process
  • Project Management, leadership, training & sales support skills
  • Ability to develop strong relationships and work with senior level executives
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Solid business acumen, management and problem-solving skills
  • Strong computer skills, especially Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Effective time management, organizational and leadership skills
  • Ability to travel at least 25% or as required
  • Willingness to support global activity with flexible meeting schedules
