Kaye Personnel is looking for a Product Development Engineer for a company located in Bordentown, NJ.

Shift: Monday- Friday 8am-5pm

Pay: up to $90k (Depending on Experience)

Responsibility:

• Complete DE assembly work
• Document build procedures for transition to production assembly
• Work with DE engineers to correct both electrical and mechanical drawings during build
• Fabricate necessary fixtures for all work needed during assembly process
• Complete all necessary testing for assembled units including electrical and hydrostatic
• Understand and implement procedures for potting and varnish processes
• Work with Process Dept when testing new materials
• Become competent in winding processes and procedures
• Obtain all necessary certifications required for soldering, brazing and welding
• Construct/fabricate required needs for all DE testing in both electrical and hydrostatic procedures
• Maintain RTN High Power Test Cell inclusive of WAGO module calibrations requirements
• Implement automation of testing in DE projects.

Requirements:

• 2yr degree or Trade School equivalent in electrical theory Highly self-motivated individual
• 10+ years in mechanical assembly
• 5+ years of electrical experience including commercial installation and wiring
• 5+ years of PLC experience
• 5+ years of Electrical Testing experience
• Strong aptitude in mechanical print and electrical schematic reading
• Strong aptitude and experience using hand and power tools
• Travel requirement not greater than 20% domestic and international
• US Citizen
• Ability to pick up 50lbs regularly
• Welding experience a plus
• Machining experience with Bridgeport and Lathe a plus
