We're looking for a Product Designer to join our team.
About The Role
This position is a unique opportunity for a product designer with a solid background in user experience to join an organization that is bringing true value to its customers. You will be working daily on language learning, web and VR user experiences. Working alongside partners in engineering, education, product, and 3D art.
As a product designer you will be integral to the end to end design process. Responsibilities include insight gathering, product validation, designing, and delivering through development.
If you are proactive in conducting user research and working with others, you get excited to own and solve a problem while maintaining a healthy work-life balance, then you are the right fit.
Responsibilities
- Conducting user research and interviews
- Sketching, wireframing, visual design, and prototyping
- Creating user journeys and user personas
- Being a great teammate to engineering, education, product, and art.
Requirements
- 3+ years of relevant work experience
- Experience designing for consumer products (B2C)
- A history of insight-driven design
- Comfortable with user research
- Excellent communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated
Nice to haves
- Experience in entertainment or VR applications
- Ability to sketch
- Familiar with design systems
- Experience working in a startup
- Experience in educational technology
