Currently, we are looking for a reliable, hard-working, and dedicated individual to join our team as a prep packer.

This ideal candidate would have keen attention to detail, a positive attitude, and exceptional communication skills.

What you'll do

As a Prep Packer, you are responsible for inspecting and packaging products in accordance with company and partner guidelines to ensure quality and safe delivery.

Below is a list of duties you would be challenged with completing.

- Aiding in the preparation and packaging of products.

-Stacking, wrapping, and transporting pallets for shipping.

-Unloading inbound pallets of product.

-Verifying and inspecting products for damages.

-Implementing and maintaining 5S/Lean Warehouse processes.

-Cleaning the facility.

-Assisting all other areas of the facility that may require aid.

-Other duties as assigned.

What you should have:

- Experience in quality control, packaging, and/or prepping.

- The ability to regularly lift up to 60 lbs, while lifting 30 lbs consistently throughout the day.

- Reliable transportation to be at work every day as scheduled.

- A strong attention to detail to help spot damages, defects, or other errors in the process.

- Exceptional communication skills and a positive attitude.

- The ability to tackle tasks as they arrive and the flexibility to fill in other roles as needed. (We are a small business after all!)

- Basic computer knowledge with knowledge of Discord, Trello, Excel, and similar products is a plus.

Work Schedule
(Includes a 1-hour paid lunch)

Monday: 6 AM - 4 PM
Tuesday: 6 AM - 4 PM
Wednesday: 6 AM - 4 PM
Thursday: 6 AM - 4 PM
Friday: Off
Saturday: Off
Sunday: Off

Pay and Benefits

Pay Rate: $14.00/hr

Attendance Bonus: $100 per month for showing up to work and being on time every scheduled workday.

Insurance Benefits: Health, Vision, and Dental Insurance are offered through Aetna to full-time employees after 90 days.

Holidays: We offer several holidays off including New Year, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Black Friday, and Christmas!

Vacation Time: 40 hours of paid vacation days after 90-day probationary period, 80 hours of paid vacation days after 2 years of service.

Personal Time: 0.0192 hours accrued for every hour worked. Does not expire. Max of 40 hours.

Sick Pay: 30 hours of sick pay after 90-day probationary period.

Paid Lunch: Full-time employees receive an hour-paid lunch, Monday through Thursday.

Work Hours: Overtime may be offered as needed, but it is not a common occurrence. We aim to maintain a 40-hour workweek to encourage a healthy work-life balance.
