Job Purpose:

Troy CSL Lighting is a growing company seeking an experienced Painter. Painting metal components with proper technique ensuring that correct technique is implemented to complete orders. Will be responsible for mixing, matching, and applying paint to various surfaces and completing touchups.

Essential Functions

• Ability paint, Mild Steel, Stainless Steel, Aluminum, Galvanized and Brass materials.
• Knowledge of Powder Coating Gun; use, setting and application.
• Knowledge in powder coating gun, ability to set machine control to perform job correctly, use of vibrator boxes and fluidizer powder hopper to apply paint.
• Knowledge on masking and hooking technique to prevent marking on parts, cover treading and tapped portion of components for future fitting (Hanging parts for paint to ensure proper coating and most yield per job processed).
• Keep AMQD record updated.
• Ensure quality of workmanship on products.
• Follow verbal and written direction from supervisor/lead.
• Ability to read manufacturing order and identify color to apply to product.
• Assist in various departments as needed.
• Report to work on scheduled time.
• Able to work OT as required and week-end.
• Willingness to learn new task as needed.

Education and Experience:

• High school graduate.
• Technical courses preferred.
• Basic math is needed.
• English required Spanish a Plus.
• Ability to replace consumable part in the paint equipment and basic trouble shooting of equipment.
