Picture yourself on the team

As Full-time Post Producer at Oni Studios, you'll work closely with some of the largest online entertainment personalities and brands in the world to help them better interact and entertain diverse audiences in the millions. Your primary mission in this role will be to ensure the production pipeline is flowing and push projects from the start of post production to completion. Your responsibilities will be filled with collaborating with everyone from the content team, production team, and creative teams on a day to day basis. The Post Producer will be responsible for the management of the Lead Video Editor to ensure the brand guidelines are being met and up to par. Your past experience working in content creation and production coupled with your unrelenting passion and drive for the industry as a whole will allow you and the projects you manage to find unbound success.

• Production is your passion. From creating it to re-watching previous works to consuming others' content you love the field and the storytelling it brings!
• You're extremely detail-oriented. You always know where everything is at and needs to be next!

Primary functions

• Facilitating the communication and execution for all aspects of the post production process by synergizing the efforts of various creative cross-departmental teams to ensure production is efficient, economically viable, and meets or exceeds performance metrics.
• Manage the day-to-day workflow, deliverables, and schedules for the Lead Video Editor. Conduct check-ins and assess individuals' output KPIs with the team.
• Assist with team and production organization by creating and managing reports, spreadsheets, and Asana project management boards. Ensure production documents are kept up to date.
• Hold all team members accountable to following collaborative processes such as standardized file organization and naming conventions. Ensure team members are following project guidelines and branding.
• Collaborate with other producers and Talent to create realistic expectations for project scale and craft project budget. Create and communicate project scope with other producers.
• Work closely with Creative Directors, Content Producers, Talent, and key stakeholders to identify and communicate meaningful project-specific KPIs and metrics. Develop meaningful and unique strategies that balance quality with output, for each individual project.
• Communicate timelines and hold both internal and external stakeholders accountable to established priorities and production goals.
• Communicate regularly with key stakeholders to receive feedback for projects passing through the post production pipeline. Communicate feedback and changes to the Video Editing team
• Provide a high degree of quality control on all projects in post production stages. Provide critical feedback to the Video Editing team to continuously improve production skills and standards.
• Maintain an ever-expanding knowledge of emerging technologies, industry news, YouTube KPIs, editing techniques, and market trends to guide content strategy and forecasting efforts for future projects and YouTube Channels. Provide industry training to employees.
• Continuously seek opportunities to improve efficiency for future production projects
• Perform ad hoc duties as requested to support the production process and its stakeholders.

What you have accomplished

• 2+ years of experience managing high-performing YouTube channels OR similar high level post production experience. Experience must prove a wizard-like understanding of production pipelines, content creation, channel management, ideation and branding strategy.
• Proven experience providing operational support and project managing cross functional teams. Experience managing post production pipelines.
• Strong understanding and application of G-Suite, and project management applications (Asana, Monday, and Trello).
• Past experience working within Asana.
• Strong Bonus: Experience or education in Project Management, Organizational Development, Digital Marketing, Video Production, Business competencies and practices.
• Strong Bonus: High-level understanding of Adobe Suite - namely Premiere Pro and After Effects.
• Strong Bonus: Extensive knowledge of YouTube - including but not nearly limited to the platform's algorithms, regulations, to audience preferences. Especially within the gaming and lifestyle spaces.
• Strong command over the English language, both written and verbal.
