The Beachwood Civil Service Commission will conduct an examination for the entry-level position of Police Officer. Starting salary is per the current contract at the time of appointment, Initial hire
$78,085.00, One Year Anniversary $80,923.00 (plus possible qualification of 5% specialist pay upon completion of probation), Two Year Anniversary $92,279.00. Passing Physical Agility Certificate from designated testing agency (Cuyahoga Community College) must be submitted prior to the Certification of the Civil Service List. Please call Tri-C to register if you need to take the test.
Written examination will take place Tuesday, February 7, 2023 promptly at 6:00 P.M. at Beachwood Community Center (Next to City Hall), 25225 Fairmount Boulevard, Beachwood, Ohio 44122. Registration begins at 5:00 P.M.
