JOB SUMMARY: This team member provides an entertaining, fun atmosphere for guests while dealing Table Games according to the rules of the particular game being played, and in accordance with Resort & Casino policies and procedures.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES*

The essential duties and responsibilities outlined here are representative of those that must be met by the team member to successfully perform the essential functions of this position, however, are not all-inclusive:

• Responsible for maintaining the safe and orderly appearance of assigned tables and the Poker Room.
• Provides guests with an enjoyable and entertaining atmosphere in the Poker Room by maintaining a professional playing relationship with guests, and promotes teamwork through courteous working relationships with other Poker Room team members.
• Maintains game integrity through up-to-date knowledge of procedures and house rules, applying procedures and house rules consistently, and informing guests of rules as needed.
• Maintains game integrity through up-to-date knowledge of cash handling procedures, including but not limited to:
• Protection of chip trays and layouts
• Drop rakes
• Jackpot rakes and drops
• Table bank fill and chip exchange procedures
• Tray procedures, including keeping trays in order, clearing hands before and after dealing time, and facing tray at all times
• Ensures table limits and blinds
• Proper procedure for dealer tokes

• Responsible for handling deck procedures, including:
• New deck procedures
• Shuffling
• Stripping cards
• Delivery of cards
• Card placement
• Card protection

• Responsible for payout procedures, including:
• Hand verification
• Pot awards
• Split pots
• All-in pots

• Must deal appropriate number of rounds per hour based on game type.
• Performs all duties in a manner that continually supports the vision, mission, values, and principles of the Resort & Casino.
• Performs all duties in a manner that adheres to the guest service standards established by Win-River Resort & Casino’s guest service program.
• Other duties as assigned by the Table Games Manager.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

The education requirements outlined here are representative of the minimum that must be met by the team member to successfully perform the essential functions of this position, however, higher levels of education than required will be reflected during the recruitment process:

• A High School diploma, or the equivalent thereof, is preferred.
• Must complete and pass the Resort & Casino’s table games training course.

EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS

The experience and knowledge requirements outlined here are representative of the minimum that must be met by the team member to successfully perform the essential functions of this position, however, higher levels of experience and knowledge than required may be reflected during the recruitment process:

• One (1) year of external dealing experience is required and may serve as a substitution for successful completion of the Resort & Casino’s table games training course.
• The ability to deal all games required by management is required.
• A strong proficiency in mathematics, including addition and subtraction, is required.
• The ability to handle cash transactions is required.

• Thorough knowledge and working skill of each assigned game is required.
• The ability to remain focused on game protection at all times is required.
• Strong verbal communication skills, to effectively communicate with guests and team members of the Resort & Casino, are required.
• The ability to perform job functions in an atmosphere where priorities and deadlines may change frequently is required.
• The ability to successfully complete a live audition may be required.
• The ability to pass a dealer competency exam on all games may be required at any time.
