SUMMARY

The Plumbing Foreman will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience. Responsible for assisting with installations and also overseas plumbing team for install, maintenance, and repairs. Before the project begins you will review blueprints with management to ensure you understand the scope, budget, and required timelines. The Plumbing Foreman provides quality control, quality assurance and technical assistance. Manage large installation projects, create material lists and push installs forward. This position requires the experience and expertise to judge and ensure the quality of work, as well as provide technical assistance and meet schedule expectations. Rogers Mechanical Contractor’s (“RMC”) Plumbing Foreman is responsible for maintaining an open, positive, and professional line of communication with customers, vendors, general contractors, internal customers and trade partners. Supervise employees and maintain a safe working environment compliant with government regulatory guidelines and RMC Safety systems. This is a travel position, with jobs in various states.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES (LIST IS NOT INCLUSIVE)

• Manage and schedule complete Plumbing materials and equipment.
• Manage install, maintenance and repairs of projects;
• Maintain open and positive communication with Trade Partners.
• Manage Sub-contractors, ensure work done meets code, contract and company requirements.
• Keep up to date with all RMC Policy and Procedures, industry standards and government regulations.
• Ensure work site is compliant with OSHA and RMC Safety protocols.
• Be available on the weekends via telephone and after hours, as well as weekends for emergencies.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Must demonstrate proficiency and knowledge of blueprints, installation and repair of plumbing - commercial and industrial.
• Know relevant building codes, regulations, policies and procedures for the installation and maintenance of systems.
• Ability to work cooperatively with other trades.
• Must have team building skills.

• Able to utilize construction software and applications as needed
