AMG Orthopedics is seeking a motivated Physical Therapist to deliver extraordinary care and customer service to our patients who present with orthopedic and sports-related conditions, post-operative disorders, and musculoskeletal injuries. The ideal candidate will drive results and the highest functional outcomes. At AMG Orthopedics, Physical Therapists will develop individual treatment plans for patients to assist in their long-term recovery, while working side-by-side with other healthcare specialists in our multidisciplinary model. Our Physical Therapists collaborate and co-treat with occupational therapists, chiropractors, athletic trainers, and exercise physiologists. To be successful in this role you must be knowledgeable in evaluation and treatment practices, up to date on current clinical research, and capable of thriving in a multidisciplinary team setting to get our patients better faster!

Summary of Responsibilities:

• Consult with patients to learn about their physical condition
• Assess and interpret patient evaluations and test results
• Develop treatment plans using a variety of treatment techniques
• Create personalized fitness-oriented health care programs for patients
• Provide educational information about injury prevention, ergonomics and ways to promote physical health
• Consult and collaborate with other healthcare professionals for advanced care
• Document accurate patient care history in a timely manner
• Prompt and "ready to work" arrival allowing 10-15 minutes for preparation prior to seeing patients
• Comply with company rules, regulations, and procedures
• Support marketing initiatives by attending marketing and outreach events as requested
• Provide engaging, one-on-one care with patient evaluations
• Maintain professional relationships with all employees and adhering to company policies regarding
• Flexible schedule to accommodate clinic evening hours as needed and/or required

Requirements:

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited education program
• Passed the National Physical Therapist Examination (NPTE)
• Completion of the American Physical Therapy Association residency program
• Valid license to practice Physical Therapy in New Jersey
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills
• Compassionate and attentive to detail
• Possess up-to-date knowledge of treatment practices
• Ability to solve problems independently
• Excellent analytical and logical thinking
• Ability to manage patients with different personalities
• Ability to write reports and correspondence at a professional level
• Drive to continually learn new treatment techniques
