Role Overview and Responsibilities:
This position will be an integral part of the set-up and implementation of a new plant that will be transferring from another location in Texas. This is an excellent opportunity to join in the fostering of a new culture in a new facility as well as the opportunity to grow with our company and our products.

The Photolithography Technician will enhance cleanroom operations by supporting process engineering and production daily goals.


Key Responsibilities

Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Ability to learn and perform complicated tasks and operate machinery.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and documentation.
  • Ability to make decisions based on available data.
  • Perform equipment checks and inventory audits.
  • Have good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Sustain cleanroom processes for photolithography and etch.
  • Work with process engineers and production supervisors to set and meet daily priorities.
  • Document non-conforming material and aid with troubleshooting production issues.
  • Ability to provide recommendations for process improvements.
  • Comfortable in cleanroom attire.
  • Experience with cleanroom manufacturing and hazardous chemistry are preferred.
  • Comfortable with extended microscope inspections.
  • Assist engineering with process experiments and confirm experiments are run according to procedures provided.
  • Assist with operator training.
Be a self-starter who enjoys learning, and challenging tasks
Qualifications, Skills and Attributes:

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma.
  • Some College level courses.
  • Minimum one year in cleanroom environment.
  • Basic understanding of Photolithography.
  • Basic chemistry.
  • Ability to follow all safety protocols.
  • Self-starter / working independently with minimal supervision.

Work Environment:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be working in an environment with the following requirements:

  • Comfortable working in a Class 1,000 cleanroom environment.
  • Ability to sit or stand for 12 hours at a time.
  • Comfortable working around chemicals.
  • Required to wear a cleanroom smock and proper safety equipment (hairnet, eye protection, face mask, gloves (nitrile or vinyl).
