IND Consulting is searching to expand our Pharmaceutical Insurance Adjudication team. Our insurance adjudication specialists will act as advocates for the patient and pharmacy, working with insurance companies to obtain approval and payment for claims. Applicants should be able to recognize the needs of and express concern for patients, have effective communication and phone skills, the ability to take on new tasks, and learn new skills. Additionally, applicants must be able to set priorities effectively and maintain constructive working relationships with co-workers, insurance company staff, and pharmacy office staff.

Essential Functions:

• Communicates with insurance carriers and pharmacies to obtain claim approval for patients
• Review patient pharmacy records for relevant information to the claim approval process
• Detailed notation and documentation skills
• Responsible for reporting all customer complaints
• Data entry and computer skills
• Effective communication and phone skills
• Must have strong general pharmacy and insurance knowledge

Relevant Experience: Previous experience working with insurance companies and pharmacies, or relevant medical office, clerical, data entry, inbound/outbound calling.

Knowledge in pharmacy insurance rejections, denials, and adjudication are preferred.

Education: Must possess at least a high school diploma or equivalent.

Job Type: Full-time

Starting at $14.00/hr depending upon experience.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday 10:30AM - 7:00PM
