Warehouse Manager

Full-Time /Exempt

Warehouse Manager is responsible for leading the day-to-day warehouse operations to include planning and directing wholesale distribution activities and deliveries.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Efficiently leads the distribution team in areas such as picking, packing, stocking, shipping, etc.
• Completes warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees, following up on work results.
• Maintains warehouse staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
• Maintains warehouse staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees, planning, monitoring, and appraising job results
• Manages inventory control activities, including physical and cycle counts
• Assists with direction and assistance in the solution of problems that arise with customers or associates
• Tracks general expense of in/out freight and truck maintenance records
• Organizes and coordinates delivery and dispatch of trucks to customer and/or other stores
• Oversees the physical handling of the return of parts to the store and the return of parts to the manufacturer
• Implements and successfully promotes a safe and organized work environment as it relates to equipment, trucks, and inventory
• Coordinates all stock is pulled and loaded into the delivery vehicle with accompanying and necessary documents, in conjunction with delivery schedules
• Promote safety standards to comply with company policy
• Monitor and reconcile cores
• Process orders for outside, account sales team

Successful Candidates Will Have:

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business Management or related field
• Five years of experience distribution/warehouse
• Five years of management experience
• Heavy duty industry knowledge/experience
• Valid driver's license with good driving record
• Ability to operate power industrial equipment (fork lifts, etc.)
