Job Description
Transports patients of the Ohio State University Medical Center as assigned. Observes and reports patient actions to patient care and/or leadership team members. Cleans and maintains patient transport carts, wheelchairs, and related mobile equipment and work areas. Completes transport logs and related documentation. Delivers specimens and related patient care items. Assists in the receipt/delivery of packages as needed.
Position located at University Hospitals East.
Minimum Education Required
Per Classified Civil Svc Specs or equivalent combination of education and experience
Required Qualifications
Ability to read and write simple sentences plus: 1 course in public relations (or 1 mo. exp.). Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide whole numbers; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Previous health care or service oriented field experience in an acute health care setting is preferred. May require valid Driver's License.
