We are currently seeking a PATIENT GUIDE to work at Aspirus Keweenaw Hospital in Laurium, MI. Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Make eye contact, greet, and assist every patient that enters the building through the main entrance.
• Anticipate the needs of the patient registration staff to keep the process running smooth and timely, often refers patients to clinic reception staff if a back log is expected.
• Keep our customers informed of any delays.
• Be a good listener.
• Build relationships with our patients and staff; they will expect to see you and speak with you every time they enter the building.

Experience/Qualifications

• Knowledge of general office procedures and customer service normally acquired through completion of a high school diploma or equivalent.
• 2-3 years of customer service experience required.
• Previous experience with direct patient care preferred.

Hours: This position is Occasional / As Needed. Day shift.
