We supply the Marine Boating aftermarket with over 60,000 SKUs from a 100,000 sq foot office and warehouse centrally located in Urbandale, IA. We’re looking for people to join our warehouse team!
Our Urbandale IA location is seeking a dependable, efficient, detail oriented individual to work in our busy shipping department manifesting parcel packages for multiple carriers. The Parcel Manifesting Specialist will scan, weigh, measure apply labeling and required documentation.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain a high degree of cooperation and teamwork within shipping department and thereby allowing for the most productive atmosphere.
- Be well versed on packing standards and procedures as manifesting is the final quality control checkpoint.
- Assure that parcels are loaded to the proper carrier
- Responsible to close out manifest system and distribute reports to carriers.
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
· Must be accurate, hardworking, and dependable
· Proficient in working with computerized systems
· Ability to work well in a fast-paced demanding environment with frequently changing dynamics
- Must be read, write, and communicate in English
- Ability to stand and or walk for the duration of the scheduled shift
- Ability to work mandatory overtime to support the cyclical nature of the business
- Ability to squat, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, twist, reach, lift, push and pull on a frequent basis
- Must be able to lift and carry objects up to 30 lbs. frequently, up to 50 lbs. occasionally and over 50 lbs. with a two-person lift
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
