Hiring immediatley! We need get out the vote organizers to help us ensure we push State Representative candidate Maura Hirschauer across the finish line. This job is temporary, pays well.
Responsibilities:
- Communicate with voters
- Phonebank
- Recruit volunteers, and train volunteers
- Must be able to hit metric goals on a weekly and quarterly basis and work well under pressure
- Any other campaign-related tasks, as needed
Qualifications:
- Prior organizing experience preferred but not required (paid, volunteer, or internship)
- A background in VoteBuilder and MiniVan
- Full availability for the last two weeks before an Election is required
- Must be a strong trainer
- Ability to work long and unusual hours (some weekends and nights, especially leadingup to the election)
- Detail orientated and comfortable to work in a fast paced environment
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with a team
- Access to a reliable vehicle. Travel is required
- Positive attitude and a commitment and passion to the cause of electing Democrats all.
Compensation
- Pay: $20 a hour
Schedule:
- You determine your schedule
Must Travel to Bartlett, West Chicago, and other places of the district if needed.
