Pay
Grade 8
$82,000 - $93,600 / year, depending on experience and qualifications
The base salary range represents the starting and expected pay for this position. Actual salaries may vary and in some cases may be higher with extensive experience and strong performance.
Schedule
3rd Shift
Sunday – Thursday, 10:00 p.m. – 6:30 a.m.
Weekend, holiday, and/or other hours will be required at times.
Must be willing to work other shifts when necessary.
Job Summary
- Supervise and manage the packaging maintenance workforce in maintaining plant equipment
- Provide the production department with operational support
- Provide technical training and assistance to the workforce
- Knowledge of and commitment to implementing precision maintenance
- Interview and select candidates to fill maintenance positions
- Support and implement Manufacturing to a Standard
- Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrates good written and verbal communication skills
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Excellent delegation and human relations skills
- Demonstrated leadership ability in present position
- Willingness to follow and enforce strict performance, process standards, and procedures
- Good organizational and planning skills
- Ability to handle difficult situations professionally
- Availability to travel when needed

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous supervisory and/or management experience
- Minimum of 3 years industrial maintenance experience
- Mechanical background in various types of bakery equipment
- Preventive maintenance experience
- Industrial electrical knowledge
- Computer skills
- Production maintenance experience
