Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Prepare quarterly reports on inventory management and operations, evaluate effectiveness of business operations, identify weaknesses and submit recommendations for improvement to management.
• Manage staff and daily operational activities - manufacturing scheduling, procurement, receiving, shipping, and equipment utilization.
• Ensure efficient and effective manufacturing and distribution (warehousing, inventory management and transportation) of products.
• Inventory management - develop means to reduce costs while maintaining business objectives.
• Develop and manage departmental budgets and sales forecasts. Maximum profitability of the site through effective planning/monitoring of the budget.
• Develop methods to analyze performance issues to identify supply chain performance and provide actionable solutions.
• Manage and maintain good relationships with customers, suppliers, shared service and staff to achieve objectives.
• Review and update product standard costs to ensure cost of products are covered and margins are correctly recognized.
• Lead procurement support for Stago groups ( Tcoag, Stago) for US based suppliers.
• Project lead for all key equipment purchases and installations to include facility planing.
• Hire, train and develop staff.
• Manage key equipment maintenance programs to include PM and required spare parts.
• Identify, select and maintain approved contractors and service providers for efficient operation of key manufacturing equipment (FD, chillers, Actini, Stoppil, incubator and BWT etc.)
• Ensure safety is a priority by establishing and enforcing standards and procedures to ensure compliance with all Federal and State regulations as well as internal SOPs and legal regulations.
• Develop and manage Operational KPIs for the business.
• Develop and update SOPs to cGMP
• Provide accurate and timely reports for related business units (customers, management, finance, RAQA)

Education & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree from four-year college / university required (Business, Supply Chain/Logistics, Technical preferred).
• 4-5 years experience in distribution management and/or manufacturing operations with 3 years supervisory experience required.
