Online ESL Teacher ('B' Block) Job at TeachCast LLC
TeachCast LLC is hiring fun and engaging online instructors to work from home for our ongoing 2022-2023 school year. This application is for our 'A' block time, which is an evening shift. Pay is $13-14/hour DOE. Raises are attained within 30 days of employment, and TESOL certification is paid for by the company! Teachers must live in the United States.
The Role
As an online ESL instructor, the primary duty is to teach students in an engaging manner. Teachers must be self-driven, energetic, and be sensitive toward an education culture that differs from the USA.
The Classes
We work with classrooms and schools throughout Indonesia, and are part of their mandatory English program during their school day.

- Easy lesson prep! All classes are assigned a lesson plan and slides using content from Oxford University Press.

Requirements
This role is remote and USA-based for teachers who are living in one of the following states: AL, AK, AR, CO, DE, FL, GA, HI, ID, IL, IN, IA, KS, KY, LA, MD, MN, MS, MO, MT, NE, NV, NH, NM, NC,ND, OH, OK, PA, RI, SC, SD, TN, TX, UT, VT, VA, WV, WI, WY.
- Education: Associate degree minimum
The Block Schedule
We are searching for teachers in our 'B' block. Please see below for shift times.
'B' BLOCK SCHEDULE (20 hour/week schedule)
Eastern Time Shifts:
- B: Monday - Friday: 12 a.m. – 4 a.m.
Central Time Shifts:
- B: Sunday night - Friday morning: 11 p.m. – 3 a.m.
Arizona Time Shifts:
- B: Sunday night - Friday early morning: 10 p.m. – 2 a.m.
Mountain Time Shifts:
- B: Sunday night - Friday early morning: 10 p.m. – 2 a.m.
Pacific Time Shifts:
- B: Sunday Night - Friday early morning: 9 p.m. – 1 a.m.
Hawaii Time Shifts:
- B: Sunday - Thursday: 7 p.m. – 11 p.m.
Technology Requirements:
Instructors must meet our broadband and computer standards to teach from home.
- Bandwidth: Minimum speeds of 3 Mbps upload and 3 Mbps download are required.
- Computer Specs:
- Processor must be 2.0 GHz (dual core), 2.8 GHz (single core), or better
- Memory (RAM): 4 GB or more
- Allowed Operating Systems: PC: Windows 10 or newer OR Mac: OS X10.9 Mavericks or newer
