Job Summary

We are a solar engineering firm located in the city of Acton, CA. We have a casual fun rapport with each other, and we still maintain professionalism and a heavy work load. We are looking for the right individual not only to complete the task at hand, but also to become part of our team. We have doubled in size over the last year, and foresee further growth in the future, so this position would be situated to grow along with the company.

Key Traits:

  • Strong Microsoft Office including Word, Outlook, and Excel.
  • Desire and ability to work in a fast-paced environment, independent self-starter and motivated.
  • Proven experience with data entry and great attention to detail.
  • Fast typing skills; knowledge of touch typing system is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to interact effectively with Management, sound judgment, and ability to contribute to the organization.
  • Extremely well organized with time management skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Heavy data entry of orders
  • Process customer orders by compiling and sorting information and establishing entry priorities
  • Maintain data entry requirements by following data program techniques and procedures
  • Create new file entries as needed; purge old files
  • Relieve customer service, front desk and all departments.
  • Continuously evaluate and identify opportunities to drive process improvements that positively impact the customer’s experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour

COVID-19 considerations:
No customer interaction as we are a business-2-business model. All interaction with customers take place over phone/video call. Interaction with management is via phone, and 1x/week in person following all precautions and social distancing measures.

Education:

  • High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

  • Microsoft Office: 1 year (Required)
  • Customer Service: 1 year (Required)
