Nidecker, NA is a leading snowboard distribution company based in Truckee, CA, dedicated to excellence and innovation. We're seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated individual to join our team as an Inventory and Inbound Logistics Coordinator. This position will collaborate closely with our parent company in Rolle, Switzerland, our 3PL providers, and our freight forwarders.

Tasks

Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate inbound shipments, inventory levels, and shipment receipt with the 3PL provider
  • Monitor and manage inventory discrepancies and cycle counts reported by the 3PL provider
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with inventory adjustments as needed
  • Review and approve warehouse boxes and supplies
  • Manage inbound logistics operations with the 3PL provider
  • Review and code invoices from the 3PL provider and other logistics partners
  • Participate in regular meetings with the 3PL provider, the parent company based in Rolle Switzerland, and other internal teams
  • Organize and manage additional inbound shipment operations, including updating expected receipt dates, relaying information from the freight forwarder to the internal team and 3PL, passing documents to the freight forwarder, and other related tasks
  • Make frequent trips to our 3PL in Reno, NV to assist with in-person tasks
  • Continuously identify areas for improvement in inventory and logistics operations and implement solutions
  • Conduct additional special projects as required
Requirements

Requirements:
  • Must be willing to work out of our Turckee, CA office
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience in inventory management and logistics coordination
  • Strong communication skills to interact with suppliers, warehouse personnel, and other team members, including those in the parent company in Switzerland
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively solve problems.
  • Willingness to work remotely on occasion and adapt to different time zones as needed
  • Proficiency in NetSuite, Microsoft Office Suite, and inventory management software
  • Experience in analyzing and interpreting data
