Details:

• Schedule: 7a-7p and 7p-7a
• The shifts are 12 hours 7am -7pm or 7pm -7am. About 30% of the time there is another APP working 11am -11 pm. 14 days of the month the 7am -7pm shift is covered by a physician. The NP or PA must be confident of his/her emergency room skills.
• Must do Aval/Avara eCARE - NPs must be self assured of their skills - ER can be very busy.
• Average number of patients per day? 25
• Average number of Admissions? 3
• Adult % and Peds %? 85%/25%
• Is PALS required? No, but strongly encouraged
• Any specific required procedures other than general EM? All ACLS required procedures. CRNA available for intubation
• Anything else specific to Devils Lake required? Provider to use hospital apartment/sleep
• Is there call after the 7p-7a shifts or only 7a-7p? No, but if provider available for call back due to serious trauma will pay agreed hourly rate.

• Holiday (1.5x hourly rate, no OT)
