Summary Statement: The Ranger Aid will be responsible for assisting the ranger staff on the night shift. The night shift begins at 2:00 p.m. and ends at 11:00 p.m. This position requires a lot of customer service and public interaction with park visitors. Assisting campers and guest with any questions or concerns they may have. Minor electrical work (changing out breakers,etc.) This position is also responsible for closing our day use area at 10 p.m. Other maintenance task may be required.
- Set-up, monitoring and clean-up support for park programs and special events.
- Maintains good public relations with park visitors and staff.
- Provides excellent customer service and park information to visitors.
- Must be able to demonstrate responsibility, dependability and good communication skills.
- Maintain a positive attitude.
- Assuring park guest abide by Idaho State Parks rules and regulations.
- Assisting campers with camp site issues.
- Fixing camp site electrical issues.
- Minor maintenance on park buildings and grounds.
- Closing park day use area.
Job Types: Full-time, Temporary
Pay: $15.00 - $15.50 per hour
