Swann Communications is seeking a National Ecommerce Account Manager to join the Team! This position can be in either of Swann’s Southern California Offices, Santa Fe Springs, or Carlsbad.
Swann Communications is a global leader in Smart Home Security products. Reporting to the VP Sales, Americas, the National Ecommerce Account Manager serves as the primary point of contact responsible for driving sales growth of their proprietary products into mass retail accounts throughout the USA and Canada.
The National Ecommerce Account Manager's focus will be to grow the business and expand distribution, while developing exceptionally strong ecommerce performance for each account via A++ execution and relationships. The National Ecommerce Account Manager will directly manage specific National Retailer online merchandising accounts and contribute to the overall sales team strategy. In this position, they will represent the company at industry events, as well as sales calls, and meetings as appropriate.
This role requires an individual with proven ability to lead a major ecommerce business via best practices, while collaborating with cross-functional teams (marketing, supply chain, product, finance etc.) in a hands-on capacity. Hands on working knowledge of retailer portals, and the ability to merchandise and drive Omni Channel sales is critical.
In this role, you will impact the organization by:
- Achieving and exceeding sales goals with high profile, key customers
- Drive the growth of new product lines to legacy customers across eCommerce
- Execute promo calendar and leverage those promo events (via each account) for most brand exposure possible
- Perform analytics of sales data, promotions and general trends to develop strategy and work to implement
- Build and execute strategies and tactics at customer level.
- Ensure planned programs are both effective, efficient, and deliver desired ROI
- Working knowledge of Omnichannel strategies to drive growth, as well as advertising platform experience with Criteo, and marketplace management via Channel Advisor
- Maintain sales forecasts by account. Forecasting + Sell through analysis at SKU level promotions and activities required.
- Analyze market trends, competitive activity, and consumer behavior to find opportunities and make data-driven recommendations
- Develop effective vendor and marketplace account partner relationships to grow the business and strategic and marketing meetings, thoughtful planning, communication, and road mapping of execution
- Travel as appropriate for sales presentations

- 4-5 years of ecommerce sales experience in the consumer electronics category
- Sales and business development experience with an ability to grow business and create lasting relationships.
- Recent experience in a national ecommerce position successfully selling consumer/branded products (preferably consumer electronics or tech) through eCommerce and traditional in-store channels.
- Shape and apply strategy by anticipating business needs and developing plans that deliver results
- Experience working with a major ecommerce portal, such as Amazon, Best Buy, or Wal-Mart, Lowe’s and/or Home Depot would be a plus.
- A measurable history of serving as the key voice of the customer among an accomplished sales team
- The confidence, demeanor and credibility to make recommendations to senior management that will support the needs of existing customers, ultimately increasing market penetration, adaptability and brand visibility both online and in store.

Education:
- While not required, a Bachelor’s degree in business or related field would be a distinct advantage
