Busy family is looking to hire a Friendly, Loving Nanny for their home in Fresh Meadows, NY.
The Ideal Candidate: Is a caring, friendly, fun, loving Nanny who will take care of their two little girls - 2.5 years and 1 year. Mom is expecting a new little boy in a couple of weeks. Someone who speaks Italian too would be a huge plus!, but is not required. Their 2.5-year-old is in pre-Nursery 3 days/week (M, W, & F) from 8:00-Noon so the primary responsibility would be taking care of their 1-year-old while the older one is in school and then taking care of both girls the rest of the time - to play with them and keep them active while mom takes care of the newborn. And then also handle some light cleaning around the house and picking up/cleaning the kid's toys, as needed. The family is building a new home and hoping to move in March, so this candidate would also need to be flexible to make the switch to that home when they make the move. The home is in Douglaston, NY.
What Works Best for Family: The family would love someone who speaks Italian. Someone fun & friendly who the girls are excited to see every day and love playing with and being around. Mom is going to have her hands full with the newborn baby in a couple of weeks so someone who can help with the girls and keep them occupied, happy and active is the best fit! Position Responsibilities:

• Childcare: 02 Children, Ages 1 year (G) and 2.5 years (G) - newborn (B) on the way in a couple of weeks
• Housekeeping: Light Housekeeping Required
• Cooking: No Cooking Required
• Laundry: No Laundry Required
• Errands: Dry Cleaners; Post Office, Etc.
• Driving: Preferred
• Travel: Family is open to having someone that would like to travel with them

Position Requirements:

• Work Hours: 7:00 AM - 2:00 PM
• MUST HAVE FLU SHOT & TDAP (for the newborn)
• Languages: English, Italian would be a plus
• Experience: 03 Years of Experience
• References: Minimum of 2 References
• Background: Pass stringent background checks and drug testing upon offer of hire
• Personality Traits: Trustworthy, reliable, caring, friendly, warm, loving, fun, energetic, active, engaging, and kind.

Position Compensation:

• Salary: $30+/hour, DOE
• Living Accommodations: Live Out
