Position Summary:

We're looking for a passionate Music Talent Booker & Event Production Manager that will be responsible for live music & event programming for RSG Group across multiple brands throughout North America. This role will have a hand in molding the future of our music event programming. Based in our Los Angeles, California headquarters, this role will report to our Head of Music & Programming.

Key Responsibilities:

• Scout musical talent & artists for all our brands
• Manage & quality control all our ongoing music programming
• Develop a long-term music event programming strategy for all brands
• Book musical talent and produce live music programming in collaboration with our event department for all our brands
• Build and maintain relationships with musical talent, talent agencies, and artist management companies

• Work closely with our marketing, communications, and event teams
• Assist the event managers with the advancing of events and communicate with artists representatives

• Handle invoicing and payments for musical talent
• Brief & train musical talent in regards of brand awareness and special formats for all our brands
• Responsible for technical support, maintenance and repair of audio, light and stage equipment
• Ensure proper care and handling of all audio equipment
• Oversee and operate systems pertaining to audio in all our locations
• Responsible for communicating and maintaining safe audio levels
• Quality control of maintaining high quality standards including backup systems for the audio broadcasting systems at all our locations
• Ensure special events audio needs are scheduled, met, and executed
• Assist with event production throughout our clubs and venues as needed
• Performs the load-in & out of DJ, band, and event equipment
• Set up and break down of DJ, band and event equipment including cabling and patching
• Assist with lighting, microphones, cables, etc.
• Audio control boards operation
• Interact with visiting production crews to ensure a successful event
• Oversee visiting audio techs, especially during shows
• Maintain a relationship with local & national audio vendors

Competencies & Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in talent booking and event production

• Must have experience in artist relations, working with various levels of talent and other industry profiles
• Experience in pro audio systems, stage lighting and basic video systems. Tour and stage production experience is a plus
• Experience working as a DJ and knowledge of DJ equipment and DJ software like Rekordbox, Serato or Traktor is a plus
• Knowledge of music production software like Logic Pro, Ableton or Pro Tools is a plus
• Detail-oriented and creative with a hands-on mindset that is a flexible and reliable team player internally and externally
• Ability to thrive in a highly diverse, global working environment and happy to flow with unpredictability
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously with unmatched organizational skills
• Must demonstrate strong communication skills when talking to talent, agencies, and other departments
• Maker mentality. Self-motivated, flexible, and process-driven
• Be able to both lead and make decisions depending on the team's needs
• Ability to travel to various fitness clubs and support centers as needed

• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Must be able to work in an environment with moderate to loud noise level
• Must be able to travel both locally and domestically, depending on the demands of business needs
