Monitoring & Compliance Auditor: Child Care Partnership/Early Head Start Job at Northern Panhandle Head Start

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Promotes the mission and philosophy of NPHS by being helpful, courteous and positive with co-workers and clients of NPHS, refraining from gossip or mean comments regarding co-workers or clients of NPHS and by supporting management decisions, policies and projects.

2. Oversee and monitor the quality of services and the delivery systems of NPHS EHS and Child Care Partners.

3. Ensure that all direct service components are delivered in an integrated way to all children and families by collecting data/observations.

4. Visit each CCP site a minimum of 2 times per month to evaluate operations and recommend improvements when needed. Follow monitoring process for EHS sites.

5. Meets with the childcare directors monthly to ensure partnership responsibilities are being met, serve as a resource person and assist in problem solving.

6. Provide the EHSM with weekly and monthly schedules.

7. Provide the CCP Directors, EHSM and Executive Director with quarterly analytical reports to monitor the ongoing progress of the program’s operations.

8. Serve on program committees as assigned to guide planning and evaluation of the program and ensure that the program target dates are met.

9. Attend committee meetings as required.

10. Collaborate with Content Area Experts for effective integration of services.

11. Revise, if necessary, the monitoring plan and ensure implementation of the monitoring process for continued and consistent operation.

12. Performs other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Associates Degree in Child Development, early Childhood Education or related field.

2. Two or more years’ experience working with families in an educational or human service program. Early Head Start Experience preferred.

  • Knowledge of Head Start Performance Standards preferred.
  • Knowledge of the service delivery area.
  • Knowledge of WV Childcare licensing requirements required.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office.

6. Ability to drive throughout the service area/Daily
