Monitor Technician Job at Huntsville Memorial Hospital
POSITION PURPOSE
Under the supervision of a licensed nurse, the Monitor Tech provides surveillance for ICU and telemetry monitors displayed in ICU and ER if directed. Provides documentation of surveillance and continuously reviews with Charge Nurse. Provides ancillary functions to support the daily operations of assigned unit. Notifies appropriate units when telemetry monitor changes are noted. Serves as a patient advocate within the health care system. Maintains adequate unit stock and equipment inventories, provides clerical support related to patient care. Demonstrates understanding of the philosophy and objectives; adheres to policies and procedures of the department and organization.
Location: Huntsville Memorial Hospital · Telemetry Unit
Schedule: Full Time, Day Shift, 7am-7pm
