Momentous Sports & Entertainment is excited to announce our opening for a Retail Merchandising Manager at CaroMont Health Park, home to the Gastonia Honey Hunters, one of the newest members of the Atlantic League of Professional Baseball (ALPB), located in Gastonia, North Carolina (20 miles west of Charlotte).Under the direction of the Chief Operating Officer the Merchandising Manager will be responsible for all facets of the Gastonia Honey Hunters retail merchandise and souvenir operations, as well as being the design director for all retail merchandise. We believe that it is imperative that the professional chosen for this position is both friendly and charismatic. In addition, the Retail Merchandise Manager is responsible for providing excellent customer service, helping with inventory management, restocking and pulling products as necessary, and managing the Point of Sale (POS) system.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of all aspects of the Gastonia Honey Hunters retail and merchandise operations
- Establish guidelines for budgeting retail operations and manage them within those guidelines
- Manage store openings, including restocking, product allocation, and ensuring that every area of the store is attractive and organized
- Keeping track of all retail operations at the facility
- Maintain compliance with all safety, loss prevention, inventory control, and cash handling guidelines
- Manage inventory and merchandise efficiently through effective merchandising and customer service
- Online order fulfillment, including stock pulls, order processing, and order handling
- Execute a marketplace strategy; these include short and long-term objectives, customer metrics and overall performance
- Develop store layouts that showcase the organization's brand, including dressing mannequins and choosing featured products
- Create creative ideas for maximizing sales and providing new merchandise to our members with the help of vendors and management
- Develop a sales mix and space allocation plan, Prepare a detailed seasonal buying plan, Design layouts and fixtures for visual selling experiences
- Review sales reports for the top sellers, inventory turn rates, and margin by product/sku
- Increase customer satisfaction by identifying and modifying data-driven procedures that will facilitate the achievement of departmental objectives and enhance the customer experience
- Identify areas for improvement and recommend improvements to management
- Manage the execution of marketplace promotions to maximize growth
- Daily, weekly, monthly sales reporting including sales and losses
Bring this with you: - Management experience in guest service retail environments or a combination of experience and education equivalent to this
- Management experience in retail operations with a proven track record of success
- Excellent working knowledge of cash management, inventory management, and cash register systems for point of sale, Effective problem-solving, communication, motivation, and team-building skills
- Passion for providing and modeling superior service; Experience in clientele based selling environments, Effectively managing time and being able to multitask
- Dedicated to providing the best customer service possible
- Capacity to communicate effectively in all situations
- Ability to work individually
- The ability to work on a flexible schedule, including but not limited to weekends, evenings, or holidays
