Social Worker and Mental Health Therapist- Working at the school settings- Melbourne, Palm Bay, Merritt Island, Cocoa and Titusville
- This is a 1099 Independent Contractor Position. Free Clinical Supervision for contracted clinicians.
The candidate will provide mental health services for our contract with Brevard Public School. Contractor will provide counseling services as identified on the student Individualized Program (IEP), Individual Counseling and Crisis Intervention.
Position Requirements:
Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling or Psychology.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Mental Health Therapists are responsible for working directly with , teachers and school counselor providing individual or group counseling.
Schedules and sets own appointments in a timely manner.
Establish rapport/gain trust with assigned clients or families.
Meets weekly documentation deadlines.
Must be willing to collaborate with other organizations and healthcare providers for treatment purposes.
Communicates effectively with the administration team.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: From $35.00 per hour
